Vedanta Society Celebrates 125 Years of Swami Vivekananda

The 2019 Vedanta Society Fall Banquet was hosted on Sunday, September 15th in Rolling Meadows, IL to great success. As was previously reported, the program featured Parliament Chair, Audrey Kitagawa, Vivekananda Vedanta Society of Chicago President, Swami Ishatmananda, Northern Illinois University Professor, Dr. Dhiman Chakraborty, and Physicist, Dr. Durgaprasad Rajaram.
The banquet marked the end of the program hosted by the Vivekananda Vedanta Society of Chicago in commemoration of the 125th-anniversary Swami Vivekananda’s speech at the 1893 World’s Parliament of Religions.
