The 2021 Parliament of the World’s Religions convened thousands of interfaith activists and people of faith from around the world to explore the theme of “Opening Our Hearts to the World: Compassion in Action” virtually, with live programming from October 16-18, 2021. Members of 244 unique faiths and traditions gathered to discuss themes of justice, peace, and sustainability in over 500 programs.
This virtual report serves as the official report of the 8th Convening of the Parliament of the World’s Religions. This publication highlights the critical themes, programs, and luminaries featured in the virtual Convening and celebrates the communities, working groups, and individuals who made it possible.
