Absentee Voting Reminder for U.S. Attendees of the 2018 Parliament of the World's Religions

We would like to remind U.S participants that election day - Tuesday, November 6, 2018 - falls during the Parliament. If you are attending the 2018 Parliament of the World's Religions, please remember that you may be in Toronto on election day, and will have to vote before you arrive in order to participate in the election.

The U.S. Election Assistance Commission recommends that you:

1. Register to vote

2. Confirm your voter registration status

3.  Consider voting early

4. Understand absentee voting requirements

In some states, you can vote early; others offer an Absentee Ballot which you must apply for in advance and then submit by mail. We urge you to inquire immediately about what is available in your town, county or state. You can learn more at Vote.org/Early-Voting-Calendar or NCSL.org/Absentee-and-Early-Voting
