Delay Announced on the 2020 H.M. King Abdullah II World Interfaith Harmony Week Prizes

Originally meant to be announced on the first week of April, the H.M. King Abdullah II World Interfaith Harmony Week Prizes awarded to the top three observances of UN World Interfaith Harmony Week have been postponed until later this year.

The official announcement was published on the World Interfaith Harmony Week initiative website and announced to their mailing list. Please find the official messaged below:

Dear All,

Due to the unprecedented global lockdown to fight the spread of COVID-19, the announcement of this year's WIHW Prize winners has been postponed to later in the year. The judges have not been able to look through all the entries but will continue to do so once the current situation has passed, God Willing.

We pray for patience and strength through these difficult times and ask you all to continue showing the positive and generous spirit that has been the underlying force of all WIHW participants.

With Prayers,
The World Interfaith Harmony Week Team
