Energy News Features Parliament Colleague Eric Goplerud

Energy News recently profiled Eric Goplerud, founder and board chair of Faith Alliance for Climate Solutions (FACS). Based in Virginia, the group’s latest initiative is Fairfax to Zero, which provides a blueprint for emissions neutrality in Fairfax County by at least 2050. Having built a membership of 2,400 in its short 8-year existence, FACS is poised to make a big impact on climate policy both regionally and nationally. Congratulations to Eric and the FACS team!

Eric is a good friend of the Parliament. FACS presented a program at our 2018 Toronto convening entitled ‘Successful Local Interfaith Climate Advocacy in Maryland and Virginia’. Parliament’s Climate Action Task Force looks forward to a continued relationship with FACS through our Climate Commitments Project.
