Parliament Co-Sponsors National Interfaith Prayer Service for Healing & Hope

The Parliament of the World's Religions partned with Religions for Peace USA, Temple of Understanding, the North American Interfaith Network (NAIN), United Religions Initiative (URI), Temple of Ara, Faith in Public Life, The Interfaith Observer, The New York Board of Rabbis, Tri-Faith Initiative, the Interfaith Center of New York, and Baha'is of the United States for the annual observance of the United States National Day of Prayer on May 7th.

The Parliament is a proud co-sponsor of the "National Interfaith Prayer Service for Healing & Hope" which took place Thursday, May 7th virtually via Zoom and Facebook. This marks the first first time that the National Day of Prayer has been hosted virtually under the leadership of Religions for Peace USA. “Of course, we do pray separately in our own religious communities but it’s also important for us to come together to pray together and uplift our common humanity and pray for everyone,” said Tarunjit Singh Butalia, executive director of Religions for Peace USA.
