Parliament Partners with 7th Generation Fund for UN CSW64 Program

This year, the Parliament of the World’s Religions is partnering with the Seventh Generation Fund for Indigenous Peoples, the Chumash Language and Cultural Collective, Indigenous Women Worldwide, Red Deer Center, Wishtoyo Foundation, Global Force for Healing, and the Mother’s Legacy Project for a special observance of CSW64. Recovering the Sacred: Indigenous Women Expressing Freedom from Violence, Stereotypes, and Stigma will be hosted on Tuesday, March 10th at Guild Hall at the Armenian Convention Center in New York City.

2020 marks the 64th annual observance of the UN’s Commission on the Status of Women (CSW64) and the 25th anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women and adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (1995).
