On Monday, September 21st the Parliament of the World's Religions, Bhumi Global, UNEP Faith for Earth, and United Religions Initiative (URI) released the report, Faith Action on the UN Sustainable Development Goals: Progress and Outlook. The report details progress made by the Faith community toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and makes recommendations for achieving even greater impact. The official release was commemorated with a webinar program of the same name. The program featured the participation of Dr. Iyad Abu Moghli, the Lead Principal Advisor on Engaging with Faith-Based Organizations at UN Environment; Joshua Basofin, the Director of Climate Action at Parliament of the World’s Religions; Kehkashan Basu, the Founder and President of the Green Hope Foundation; Lauren Van Ham, Climate Action Coordinator of the United Religions Initiative; Ravneet Singh, the currently the South-Asia Project Manager at EcoSikh; Rev. Susan Hendershot, president of The Regeneration Project and Interfaith Power & Light; Rabbi Yonatan Neril, founder and Executive Director of the Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development; and Gopal Patel, co-chair of the United Nations Multifaith Advisory Council and Director of Bhumi Global.
