Parliament Chair, Audrey Kitagawa, joined the United Nations Population Fund on Tuesday, March 19 in New York for a special event hosted in celebration of the 63rd Session of the Commission on the Status of Women. Conversations on Social Cohesion: Stories of Women, Faith and Leadership brought together a diverse group of women from a variety of faith perspectives.

Dionne Boissière a Chaplain of the Church Center for the UN, Joyce Dubensky the Chief Executive Officer of the Tanenbaum Center for Interreligious Understanding, Grove Harris the UN Representative for the Temple of Understanding, Azza Karam the Senior Advisor on Culture and Social Development at UNFPA, Audrey E. Kitagawa the Chair of the Parliament of the World's Religions, Katherine Marshall the Executive Director of Worlds Faith Development, Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati the Secretary-General of Global Interfaith WASH, and Canon Sarah Snyder the Archbishop of Canterbury's Advisor for Reconciliation and the Founding Director of the Rose Castle Foundation led this dynamic event which focused on sharing experiences and ideas to make things better around the world.
