In this Sacred Circle Conversation, Moderator Rev. Charline Manuel, Chair of the Board of Trustees, Parliament of the World Religions is joined by Great Grandmother Mary Lyons, Ojibwe Elder; Dr. Catherine Meeks, Founder and Director, Turquoise & Lavender Institute; and Kehkashan Basu, Founder and Director, Green Hope Foundation.
The speakers discuss the importance of honoring Mother Earth, as well as how we do so, with a large focus on environmental sustainability, personal responsibility, and intergenerational communication. The conversation touches on various topics including the role of spirituality and creativity in achieving a more sustainable future; and that by honoring Mother Earth, we also honor each other and ourselves.
