Communities Affected by Violence

2019 closed much like it started, with acts of violence against communities of faith highlighting the rise of anti-Semitic attacks around the world and the rise of gun violence facing our communities. 

The Parliament of the World’s Religions wants to extend our heartfelt prayers to the victims of the anti-Semitic attacks that took place this past week in Monsey and the state of New York, as well as the victims of the West Freeway Church of Christ attack in White Settlement, Texas. We stand firmly with the communities affected and Jewish and Christian communities around the world.

WIHW 2020: Chicago Interfaith Fair

The Parliament is a global partner to grassroots organizations during the celebration of UN World Interfaith Harmony Week (WIHW). Our team is working with interfaith partners in Chicago to host a special observance of WIHW in celebration of the 10th anniversary. 

The Chicago Interfaith Fair is an event organized in partnership with interfaith organizations from the city and surrounding suburbs. Our partners include Faith In Place, Interfaith Youth Core, OMNIA, Spiritual Playdate, the Niagara Foundation, the Interfaith Community for Detained Immigrants, and the Interreligious Institute at CTS.
