Sunday, February 28th marked the official end to 2021 World Interfaith Harmony Week observances around the world. As another year of this groundbreaking initiative comes to a close, the Parliament of the World's Religions wants to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the individuals, organizers, and organizations that joined the global observance this year. The 2021 World Interfaith Harmony Week observance season was a unique one. The programs organized this year in partnership with the Parliament were hosted virtually, offering organizers and attendees the opportunity to connect and celebrate the local interfaith community and the global interfaith movement, even as our communities continue to grapple with the global pandemic. Our team and our network was deeply inspired by the steadfast commitment from organizers to our planet, our communities, and our neighbours around the world. As the World Interfaith Harmony Week initiative prepares to review event reports and organizers continue to plan interfaith gatherings, we invite you to explore this year's programs from the Parliament network. |
