On Wednesday, December 8th the Parliament of the World’s Religions partnered with with Bhumi Global, the Center for Earth Ethics, Dayenu, EcoSikh, the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), Minnesota Interfaith Power & Light, the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, UK COP26 Presidency, UN Environment Programme Faith for Earth, and World Resources Institute for a debrief and discussion about the faith community’s continued engagement with UNFCCC and climate action more broadly.
The Parliament’s Climate Action Task Force Chair, David Hales, and UK COP26 Presidency’s Director of Strategy, Charles Ogilvie, discussed outcomes, successes and challenges from the COP26 meeting. This was followed by an interactive discussion with attendees, led by David.
