Preserving Life on Land: Plans, projects, pitfalls and partnerships for rainforest preservation

On Monday, July 11th the Parliament of the World’s Religions joined the Episcopal Church, IRI Colombia, and the World Council of Churches for a parallel event on the margins of the UN High-Level Political Forum on the SDG’s discussion on Goal 15: Life on Land. Preserving Life on Land: Plans, projects, pitfalls and partnerships for rainforest preservation, was an informal strategic conversation hosted in English with Spanish interpretation, moderated by Charles McNeil of UNEP and featured the participation of Blanca Echeverria, URI Colombia; Silvia Gomez, Gaia Amazonas; Rev. Glenda McQueen, the Episcopal Church; Rev. Henrik Grape, WCC; and Lewis Cardinal, PoWR.


Land Acknowledgment
