WELCOME TO THE CLIMATE ACTION WEBFORUM | parliamentofreligions.org

WebForum is an online conversation about current topics that are shaping actions and decisions about Earth’s changing climate. Join us here to discuss breaking news, significant issues, and important developments in the climate action community. Each topic features a lead essay from an interfaith climate leader, with responses from invited “panelists” and comments and questions from readers to help us continue the discussions.
WebForum topics will be archived online and considered for inclusion as part of the Faith and Climate Webinar Series. The series is hosted by the Parliament of the World’s Religions, in partnership with the Security and Sustainability Forum and with support from the Hanley Foundation. Faith and Climate Webinars will bring faith leaders and climate activists together from all sectors and faiths to address our urgent and collective responsibility to act on behalf of all humanity, future generations, and the natural world to change the catastrophic impact we are
having on the planet.

We are excited to launch our first Climate Action WebForum with a discussion about Juliana v. United States, the landmark “Youth Climate Suit” begun in 2015 by 21 young people from across the U. S. The case is proceeding through the federal courts and is gaining momentum, support, and international attention throughout the global environmental community. The Parliament is currently preparing an amicus curiae brief in support of the suit.

Join the discussion on the Juliana v. United States now!
