On Wednesday, May 26th Parliament Executive Director Stephen Avino joined a special observance hosted by Tzu Chi Foundation. The program “Healing The World: Prayers and Reflections for All Sentient Beings” was hosted in celebration of the United Nation’s Vesak Day.
Reflecting on the spirit of the Buddha’s teachings through an interfaith gathering of prayers and reflections, thinking about how we respond, recover and heal from the impacts of the pandemic, climate change, and the confluence of crises we face as a global community.
