About the Student Field Trips

The Parliament of World Religions and Spiritual Playdate invite area schools, religious schools, and community groups to send their students to the Parliament and participate in the Kids of PoWR program track, uplifting this next generation with hope and courage. The Kids of PoWR program track at the 2023 Parliament of the World’s Religions is open to children ages 6-13.

Where: McCormick Place Lakeside Center – 2301 S King Dr, Chicago, IL 60616

When: Monday – Friday | 9 AM – 5 PM 

Cost:  The cost per student is $12 for groups of 10+ and $40 for teachers; this includes a free vegetarian Langar meal provided by the Sikh community. Minimum of 1 adult chaperone per 10 students.

Registration:

• Step 1: Coordinator completes this registration form and purchases a minimum of 10 child passes
• Step 2: Schools finalize their attendee list and submit the final number of students, their names and ages, and confirmation of parental consent.

Schools/organizations are expected to confirm their attendees by no later than Friday, August 07, 2023.
**Please note you will be asked to pay for the number of students confirmed if above the original 10 passes.

Lunch: Students will have the opportunity to enjoy a vegetarian langar meal provided by the Sikh Community. We cannot guarantee the ingredients used in the production of the meal. If the school prefers, we can provide a space for your students to eat their own nut free and/or dietary restricted bag lunch.

All students and teachers are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles that can be filled in our water station.
