Description:
This session will outline archetypes for the future of the food system that address particular notions of justice and sustainability in the face of ecological crises. Through these archetypes, the session will address justice issues encountered by local food producers in Latin America, food justice, and nutrition in growing “mega-cities,” and the ethics or justice issues involved in the technological adaptations emerging from the archetypes. The session will include a short video presentation followed by a panel of four speakers from different geographic locations and backgrounds addressing the justice implications of future food systems from religious perspectives.
