This program is drawn from a Quaker practice known as Worship Sharing. Participants are given questions for reflection that focus on a topic or problem such as, working for peace, and addressing questions: How do I seek to understand the root causes of anger?; What happens when I imagine the anguish of a person angry enough to kill others?; and How do I look for simple and effective ways to lessen anger, hatred, and violence? After silent reflection, participants are invited to make statements that speak to the questions, following written guidelines distributed at the session's start.
