Students from a Buddhist girls school discuss how their community promotes unity and compassion through school events, such as Honoring Elders Day, Cherishing Youth Day, and Karma Kitchen. These events educate the next generation on giving, service, and paying-it-forward. These students will explain how these experiences transformed them into better young adults in the modern society. Additionally, they will share their knowledge of global awareness acquired from classes, including World Religions and Buddhism. We hope the audience will see how these students, using what they have learned, can impact the world.
