Spirituality and Defending Freedom of Indigenous Community, Through the Lense of a Hindu Monk

Session Description:

More than 400,000 tribal people are living on the border of Mewar-Marwar of Rajasthan, India and they are the most marginalized forest dwellers. Interstate tribals in India are on the verge of violation of human rights. The children are suffering from malnutrition and due to the non-availability of appropriate food, the parents aren’t able to provide them with basic food to live. A huge number of tribal children in forest areas in Rajasthan, India are under-nourished, and with the support of the Sahast Foundation of Yuvacharya Shri Abhaydas Ji Maharaj, there are various programs and events to provide their basic rights and freedom from any sort of violence. There is continuous care and assistance to this ostracized community for better livelihood and connection to the mainstream population but, by maintaining their indigenous essence.
