2019 UN World Interfaith Harmony Week
In observance of the 2019 UN World Interfaith Harmony Week, the Parliament of the World's Religions is launching the Chicagoland Interfaith for Good Campaign. At the Parliament, we believe that when people of faith and conscience come together for good, their communities are better for it.
This World Interfaith Harmony Week, celebrate your interfaith community and showcase how impactful interfaith collaboration can be by celebrating World Interfaith Harmony Week with the Parliament.
On February 8th, our team is inviting people of faith and conscience in the city of Chicago and the Chicagoland area to join in an interfaith prayer breakfast in celebration of interfaith harmony locally and commemoration of World Interfaith Harmony Week internationally. The breakfast marks the launch of the Parliament's Chicagoland Interfaith For Good Donation Drive, a month-long collection of non-perishable food items, hygienic products, and gently used clothing by communities of faith, non-profit organizations, and local interfaith organizations in the city of Chicago and the Chicagoland area.
Celebrate World Interfaith Harmony Week by hosting your own Interfaith for Good event, service day, or donation drive.
Connect with your local faith communities, interfaith organizations or community group and showcase how interfaith can be a force for good in your community.
Remember that the Parliament of the World's Religions is your partner for World Interfaith Harmony Week and we are committed to helping interfaith organizers from around the world by providing them with organization tools, promotion opportunities, and the opportunity to join our growing global network.
