2019 UN World Interfaith Harmony Week
In observance of the 2019 UN World Interfaith Harmony Week, the Parliament of the World's Religions made the celebration of WIHW a priority. With the support of a grant from the John Templeton Foundation, the Parliament hosted webinars in preparation for WIHW, partnered with interfaith organizers around the world to support their events, and hosted events in Chicago and New York in observance.
World Interfaith Harmony Week Webinar Series
In the lead up to and during the month of February, the Parliament hosted three webinars as part of our World Interfaith Harmony Week Webinar Series. The webinars aimed to raise awareness of World Interfaith Harmony Week and the King Abdullah II World Interfaith Harmony Week Prize, as well as provide resources to organizers from experts. You can watch recordings from the webinars available on our YouTube page and read blog posts on the things we learned.
