Religion, (In-)Justice, & Human Rights – A Global Response through Local Action

Session Description:

The session showcases how global interfaith engagements (e.g.ACWAY forums) directly impact grassroots interfaith practices. The session explores ACWAY’s youth engagement model, anchored by the Interfaith Development Goals (IDGs), developed and used by ACWAY Fellows themselves. We believe that strong global interfaith cooperation can effectively facilitate the necessary understanding of interfaith and intercultural dialogue to address issues of freedom and human rights. The session includes interactivity as we engage with the participants and collectively contribute to the dialogue at hand, connect it to personalized experiences, and propose potential solutions for youth to consider when reflecting on interfaith dialogue and human rights. Over the last 8 years, ACWAY has brought together over 200 young interfaith dialogue practitioners from around the world, to learn from each other, and explore ways to deepen the impact in their communities through global cooperation.
