Resetting the Milestones: Multidisciplinary Perspectives on the Last Decade of Action

On Monday, June 15th the Parliament joined esteemed panelists in a virtual dialogue hosted by the Green Hope Foundation on resetting the milestones that define the way forward in the Last Decade of Action to ensure the success of Agenda 2030.

The program entitled ” Green Hope’s Virtual SDG Summit-Panel 2: Multidisciplinary Perspectives On The Last Decade of Action” featured the participation of Audrey Kitagawa (Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Parliament of the World’s Religions), Maria Fernanda Espinosa (Former President of the United Nations General Assembly & Former Minister of Foreign Affairs & Minister of Defence, Ecuador), Mary Robinson (Chair of the Elders, Adjunct Professor of Climate Justice in Trinity College Dublin & Former President of Ireland), Satya Tripathi (United Nations Assistant Secretary-General & Head of New York Office at United Nations Environment Programme), Dr. Edgar Gutiérrez-Espeleta (UNCCD Special Envoy, Former Minister of Environment & Energy of Costa Rica & Former President of the United Nations Environment Assembly), and Latonya Williams (Forest Supervisor, Forestry Unit – Ministry of the Environment & Housing, The Bahamas).
