Rev. Dr. Karen Hamilton

The Rev. Dr. Karen Hamilton B.A., M.Div., Th.M., D.Min., served the faith communities of Canada and the World as the general secretary of The Canadian Council of Churches from 2002-2017. Before beginning her term as general secretary of The Canadian Council of Churches, she was in parish ministry as the senior minister of St. James-Bond United Church in Toronto. She has also served in numerous leadership positions in The United Church of Canada and has extensive experience in inter-faith dialogue. Her book, “The Acceptable Year of The Lord”, was published by Novalis in the fall of 2008. She currently serves as adjunct faculty at Trinity College, The University of Toronto.
