The founder and Guiding Zen Master of Jungto Society, Venerable Pomnyun Sunim is one of the most recognized and influential religious leaders in South Korea with an active following. A well-respected North Korea expert, his humanitarian and human rights work in North Korea since late 1990’s was featured in the New York Times in 2012.
