Founder of Sacred Sound Institute, she has recorded 3 CDs of Gregorian and Sanskrit chant. Faculty: American Sanskrit Institute; SuryaChandra Healing Yoga. For 20 yrs, she studied with Sri Karunaamayee (Aurobindo Ashram, Delhi), whose memories of India’s freedom-fighting era provide rare insights into India’s musico-spiritual traditions. She highlighted those recollections in a dissertation on Mahatma Gandhi’s regular use of sung-prayers and ritual as primary inspirations behind India’s freedom movement: "Mahatma Gandhi’s Use of Sung-Prayers and Ritual: The Sound Sources for Satyaagraha."
