Human Rights Activist Muhammed Lamin Saidykhan is the Coordinator of Africans Rising for Justice, Peace and Dignity. A continental wide grassroot movement of the people of Africa and Diaspora, created to support, amplify, connect and empower the grassroot moments across Africa and Diaspora.
Mr. Saidykhan is a 34-year- old activist, Gambian by nationality with a background in youth and women policy development, climate and environmental justice, human rights, non violence organising and activism, capacity development of youth and women, strategic campaigning, advocacy, coaching, mentorship, movement building and promoting activism across Africa and globally. He have developed and supported the creation of many youth and women organisations, movements and networks across Africa to flight against any form of injustices and rights violation.
Muhammed Lamin served as the National Coordinators of Activista The Gambia for seven years and Co-Chair of ActionAid International’s Youth Working Group globally for four years were he supported, guide and directed ActionAid work with young people around the world.
As human Rights activist, Muhammed Lamin work with other activists, networks and moments under the brand name: #GambiaHasDeceided to organised widespread protests to get long time Gambian dictator Yahya Jammeh to step down and hand over hand power to people elected President Adama Barrow after losing election.
