The Right Honourable Kim Campbell PC, CC, OBC, QC is the nineteenth and first female Prime Minister of Canada (1993). Held cabinet portfolios: Min. of State for Indian Affairs, Min. of Justice and Attorney General, and Min. of National Defence and Veterans' Affairs. Served as Canadian Consul General in LA, taught at the Harvard Kennedy School, and Chaired the Council of Women World Leaders. Served as International Women's Forum President, and was a founding member and later Secretary General of the Club of Madrid, an organization of former presidents and prime ministers. As Founding Principal, designed and launched a ground-breaking leadership program at the University of Alberta, the Peter Lougheed Leadership College.
Speaks on a wide variety of topics through her agencies the American Program Bureau and the Global Speakers Agency. Trustee of the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation at King's College London, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Athenex Inc., and is on several boards/ advisory committees such as Equal Voice, Informed Opinions, and Apathy is Boring.
In 2016, she was appointed Chairperson for the Independent Advisory Board for Supreme Court of Canada Judicial Appointments, a role she reprised the following year.
