Connecting Hearts on Climate Change

Every religious, spiritual and faith tradition views earth through a sacred lens and teaches adherents to protect the environment and all forms of life on our planet. At a vital moment in history, the Global Interfaith Movement and the Environmental Movement Join Forces at the Parliament of the World's Religions in Salt Lake City on October 15 - 19, 2015.

"The Parliament is About Bringing a Message of Hope at a Difficult Time."
Parliament Trustees explain why it is critical for people of all faiths to come together to address the challenges of climate and ecological degradation, and to learn and share from one another in the process of helping heal our planet.

All are invited to register at and bring compassion and curiousity to the table as we delve deep into the questions of how we can restore our planet, live sustainably, and work together for a new relationship with the earth.

More than 300 Programs and 50 Global Leaders including His Holiness the Dalai Lama will focus on compassionate action for environmental sustainability,  peacebuilding, and economic justice.

Parliaments held every few years around the world are considered the mother event of the modern global interfaith movement. The 2015 Parliament returns the assembly of 10,000 people of 50 faiths and 80 nations to the United States for the first time since 1993. Over the past two decades, the interfaith movement has grown rapidly as globalization advances, terrorism rages, and neighbors understand the urgency of seeing humanity in all of us as we bring our dedication to helping society to reach a more just, peaceful and sustainable world.
