Pre-Parliament Event Explores Architecture of Faith

On Sunday, August 13th Sacred Space International and Chicago Theological Seminary Library are hosting a pre-Parliament event exploring “The Architecture of Faith: Finding Interconnectedness in Sacred Space.”
When: Sunday, August 13th
Time: 3:30 PM-6:00 PM
Where: Chicago Theological Seminary, 1407 E 60th St, Chicago, IL 60637, USA
This event is also a celebration of the pioneering work of Suzanne Morgan, AIA, and Parliament of the World’s Religions Sacred Space Ambassador, who has spent decades devoted to the practice of using sacred architecture for peace, which has inspired interreligious community-building programs across the continent through the organization Sharing Sacred Spaces, Inc. Following the models tour, The Rev. Dr. John Joseph Mastandrea from the United Church of Canada, Dr. Ibrahim Anli of The Rumi Forum in Washington DC, and Sharing Sacred Spaces’ Executive Director, Dr. Vanessa Avery, will share about how sacred architecture is being used as an effective instrument for creating unity and positive change.
