Vada Dasturji Khurshed Dastoor, Rev. Diane Berke, Scott Stearman, Rabbi Alon Goshen-Gottstein, and Gospel for Teens Join 2021 Parliament

The Parliament of the World's Religions is honored to announce that Vada Dasturji Khurshed Dastoor, Rev. Diane Berke, Scott Stearman, Gospel for Teens, and Rabbi Alon Goshen-Gottstein join the growing list of featured luminaries at the 2021 Parliament of World's Religions, on October 16th-18th.

These diverse voices will share special prayers and performances highlighting the sacred beauty of their faith and spiritual traditions on the plenary stage.

Vada Dasturji Khurshed Dastoor

Vada Dasturji Khurshed Dastoor serves as the High Priest of the Iranshah Atash Behram, Udvada. Dasturji Khurshed completed his religious education at the Dadar Athornan Institute and his academic education at Dadar Parsee Youths Assembly High School. As part of his religious and spiritual duties, he delivers lectures on the Zoroastrian Religion and History.

Rev. Diane Berke

Rev. Diane Berke is the Founder and Spiritual Director of One Spirit Learning Alliance. Ordained as an interfaith minister in 1988, she is a respected pioneer in the field of interfaith and interspiritual education. Diane has worked closely with Andrew Harvey in his Institute for Sacred Activism and is a founding member of Transformation 365, an online platform to introduce people to a broad range of contemplative practices.

Rabbi Alon Goshen-Gottstein

Rabbi Dr. Alon Goshen-Gottstein is acknowledged as one of the world’s leading figures in interreligious dialogue. He is founder and director of the Elijah Interfaith Institute since 1997. His work bridges the theological and academic dimension with a variety of practical initiatives, especially involving world religious leadership

Gospel for Teens Choir

Gospel for Teens is a highly respected and influential arts education program.  Since 2006, they have provided award-winning FREE training to greater New York City area youth between the ages of 13 and 19.

Scott Stearman

Scott was called as pastor of Metro Baptist Church in New York City in February 2015 after serving as Senior Pastor of Kirkwood Baptist Church (St. Louis, MO) for 12 years. Scott provides primary leadership for Metro's congregational ministries.

In addition, he serves as a presence for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and Baptist World Alliance at the United Nations where he currently heads the Human Rights Cluster of the NGO Major Group.
