Join the Parliament for the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues

April 10, 2018

The Parliament of the World’s Religions encourages you to attend the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, where our friends at The Seventh Generation Fund for Indigenous Peoples (SGF) are planning a number of events. The activities that SGF is planning, particularly the pre-session training session, are ideal for first-time participants at the United Nations — Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues. The side events offer exciting discussions on important issues that will focus on the major themes of the PFII. The PFII is scheduled at the United Nations in New York City from April 16th, 2018 through April 27th, 2018.
We are especially excited to announce that the Parliament is co-sponsoring an expert panel discussion on April 19th. Join us and our friends at SGF for Indigenous Peoples’ Collective Rights, Lands & Territories on April 19th, 2018 from 6pm-8pm on the 2nd floor of 777 UN Plaza (44th and 1st Avenue) Church Center Building, New York. A dinner buffet will be offered and the discussion will be translated in English and Spanish. Download the event flyer here!
