Welcome to our new Chair of the Board

Rev. Charline Manuel, an ordained Unity Minister affiliated with the New Thought Spiritual tradition for 30 years, was elevated to Chair of the
Parliament Board of Trustees for 2025. Rev. Charline has served on the Parliament board for 5 years. She served as chairperson for the Global Ethic Committee for four years, as secretary for three years and co-vice chair for one year before being elected to the Chair in December 2024.

Charline will tell you she fell in love with the Parliament when she attended her first convening in 2004 held in Barcelona Spain. She has not missed a convening since. Inspired by the mission of the Parliament and a spiritual experience during the 2004 convening, she went on to lead initiatives for clean water in Africa, partnered to build a school in Haiti, and led a delegation to receive peace training in Costa Rica.

Currently Charline works in leadership development and training for ministerial candidates and church boards. She served as the senior minister in a thriving ministry in Florida for 22 years. Charline has authored nine books on topics including professional board development, prayer, a children’s book on prayer and a new publication in 2024, Shaping Hope: Harnessing the Power of Grace in Your Life Stories.
