A WORLD THAT WORKS: Healing Global Agony by Building a Matrix of Collaboration With “NESTT”

Generational poverty, violence, cyclical incarceration, a growing wealth divide, shrinking opportunities for the next generation, and a dying planet can all trace their origins to the failure to see the beauty of our Divinely created interconnection. How do we build a matrix of compassionate collaboration? NESTT: The 5 pillars of Nutrition, Education, Sanitization, Transportation, and Trees are at the root of the issues stifling opportunity and feeding the continued destruction of hope. By harnessing and implementing the power of faith communities, to work in a coordinated fashion, we begin to enact change at the local level where it is needed most. In this session, SCCPWR provides the foundational research and reasoning behind this initiative, including a discussion and workshop demonstrating the interconnectedness and compassionate core of NESTT. This collaborative experience provides tools participants can use to positively affect their individual communities.
