Abortion – A Complex Issue: Sharing Our Perspectives & Hearing Others through Listening Circles

Abortion—one of the hottest topics in our world today. But it’s always been so—as far back as 1550 there have been laws and opposition around this issue. This session is designed in a “Listening Circles” format—giving each participant sacred time to respond to carefully designed questions. It is not about dialogue, but about listening with open hearts, empathy, and compassion as people share their own personal stories and feelings about Abortion. At the end of the Circle process, there is a larger group debrief. Participants feel heard and have deeper and broader perspectives of the topic. Through this process, the consciousness of many about abortion may shift into a higher-broader paradigm as heartfelt connections are made.
