Talking about God in interfaith settings can be complicated. Complications increase when the issues of science are added. A growing number of Christians, Jews, Muslims, and other theists, however, find God generally described in open and relational theology fruitful for interfaith and interdisciplinary discussions. While various visions of God as open and relational are on offer, five common features exist. In this session, Thomas Jay Oord addresses those common features in light of scientific questions. While complications do not evaporate, progress in interfaith dialogue about God is possible.
