Celebrating Our Diversity and Unity Through the Arts

We have all witnessed how people respond viscerally and powerfully to music, film, dance, and visual images. Because the Arts have the unique ability to move, touch and inspire people in ways that transcend even logic and reason, they can serve as our best ally in bringing together people of all backgrounds and transforming strangers into friends. The Arts can break down old, worn stereotypes and create new and innovative pathways to peace and understanding. Presenters share their unique approach to celebrating diversity. Participants are invited to share details of events they produced and together brainstorm how to use the Arts to reach people in mainstream society who have not as yet experienced the exciting diversity and inspiration of our interfaith world.
