Celebrating Women’s Spiritual Leadership Across Generations

The Parliament’s Global Ethic begins: “The world is in agony.” Indeed we are living through a time of great uncertainty when our existing institutions are crumbling and new ways of doing things have not yet emerged. Solutions lie in the wisdom of the feminine, which has been undermined, devalued, and silenced for the past 2000 years. The urgency of this time calls for women to rise up, speak up and bring our leadership NOW in ways that are bold and effectively transformative. In this experiential session, diverse women ranging in age from 20 to 85 share their challenges as spiritual leaders and offer a unique vision for the future of faith in a changing world. The group also models feminine principles and offers an effective alternative to the hierarchy often common in our failing patriarchal institutions. The wisdom of every participant is heard, with nearly half the session time devoted to authentic conversation in small circles.
