Dignity Is Every Sentient Being’s Birthright!
Session Description:
To address the issues of freedom and human rights, our program reviews the dignity of the oppressed, persecuted, and marginalized communities around the world and how global faith and non-religious organizations can strive to guarantee human dignity as a primary requirement of sentient beings. Every individual deserves to be valued for the fact that they are a living, sentient being. Human rights are necessary to guarantee inherent dignity in every human being across religions, geography, and state of mind. We discuss how the origins of different religions all viewed human dignity as primal by considering all humans equal. We establish that every organization, religious and non-religious, should recognize every human being as equal and realize that no one should be judging another human being. By embracing this notion and promoting it in their congregations within their establishment, we can realize universal harmony in the individual pursuit of happiness without garnering hatred.
