Engaging Philanthropy for Community Impact

Session Description:

Whether it’s what motivates individuals to give, or grounds the development of nonprofit organizations, religion plays a critical role in philanthropy. Philanthropy has the power to build communities and unite people across many diverse populations and religious backgrounds. This facilitated session provides a variety of religious perspectives on engaging in philanthropy as a way of living out one’s faith to help build a just and peaceful world. The session features a diverse group of individuals who are inspired by their faith to give in a variety of ways to impact positive change across the globe. In addition to the moderated discussion, time is also reserved for audience questions.
