Environmentalism, Climate, and the Rights of All Living Creatures
Session Description:
Climate change is an undeniable reality, and its implications are far-reaching. It affects both individuals and communities all over the world, with the most vulnerable populations being disproportionately impacted. The degradation of the environment can lead to health issues, water shortages, and food insecurity in many parts of the world. These conditions can erode people’s right to life, health, and adequate living standards. This session explores how climate change intersects with the rights of all living creatures and what role religion plays in how we view climate change and what steps we can take to improve the lives of all living creatures.
