Global Ethic Symposium: Living the Global Ethic: Shared Moral Commitments in Action

As we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Parliament’s signature document, Towards a Global Ethic (An Initial Declaration), or the Global Ethic, this program is an invitation to dialogue with each other and with religious and political leaders who embrace its moral commitments. It is also an opportunity to imagine a world in which those commitments are lived out by everyone. The program includes a panel discussion with these leaders about their work and the Global Ethic and grapples with such questions as: How may we keep the Global Ethic alive in our communities? What should be next for the Global Ethic? Can the Global Ethic help to heal the challenges facing society and make a difference the world needs? Where do we go from here?
