Global Voices: Women Podcasting
Session Description:
Three women podcasters of diverse national, racial, and spiritual backgrounds discuss their experiences with building and sustaining a global spiritual community among Pagans, Indigenous peoples, and others of many paths and places through producing and hosting podcasts on Circle Sanctuary Network Podcasts (CSNP). Founded in March 2019 by Circle Sanctuary, a global Nature Spirituality church, CSNP is an international spiritual internet radio network providing podcasts in three languages: Spanish, Portuguese, and English. Laura from Mexico and Chicago, USA, Debra Rose from Kentucky, USA, Selena from Washington, DC, and rural Wisconsin USA share some best practices for using podcasts for community education, meditation, dialogue, ceremonies, and spiritual support. In addition, all three ecofeminists describe their uses of podcasting during the global pandemic to provide information, facilitate connections, dispel loneliness, aid healing, and encourage resilience.
