How Our Connection to the Earth Strengthens Human Rights

Session Description:

Connecting with the Earth is an important part of maintaining harmony in our lives and keeping ourselves grounded. It is also how we can connect with others through a shared, mutual respect of land. Indigenous cultures teach us the importance of respecting the natural world which expands our interfaith understanding by showing us that we are all a part of something bigger in this world. This session discusses the ways we can nurture a deeper connection to the Earth and other beings through our spiritual connection with the natural world. This gets us out of an “us” versus “them” mentality and instead allows us to focus on each other.
