How to Publish With the Journal of Interreligious Studies
Session Description:
The editorial team of the Journal of Interreligious Studies answers questions about the journal submissions process and solicits proposals for guest-edited issues. JIRS is a forum for academic, social, and timely issues affecting religious communities around the world. It is a peer-reviewed, open-access publication dedicated to innovative research on and study of the interactions that take place among religious communities. It is designed to increase both the quality and frequency of interchanges between religious groups and their leaders and scholars. JIRS hopes to increase religious literacy, contribute to the field of interreligious hermeneutics, and address the issues surrounding interreligious relations, dialogue, theology, and communication. JIRS solicits articles of an interdisciplinary nature with the aim of producing resources for interreligious education, pedagogy, theology, and cooperation. Early career researchers and practitioners are especially welcome.
