Live Welcoming to All

Session Description:

This session addresses egoic perspectives that separate and divide self from “Other.” Experiential exercises which include, guided meditation, witnessing, and deep listening, are designed to give participants the opportunity to identify barriers to unity and gain awareness for Self as Other. “Live Welcoming to All” is from a poem written by Mechtild of Magdeburg, a medieval mystic poetess, who faced opposition from society, but despite this she felt as long as she had the power to change and grow, there was hope for change in the world. “The sun shines on all the trees; it does not make distinctions between this tree and that tree.” Hazrat Inayat Kahn
