Religious Perspectives on Approaching Interfaith Dialogue
Session Description:
Approaching an interfaith dialogue requires a respectful attitude and open-mindedness. All parties involved must be willing to listen, learn, and understand each other’s beliefs without judgment or criticism. It is important that all sides express their perspectives in a respectful way, using language that acknowledges the differences between faiths and avoids generalizations about any one belief system. Respecting different religious and spiritual traditions enhances our ability to defend freedom and human rights for all by building bridges between different communities. Presenters explore the importance of interfaith dialogue through different religious examples.
