Scream: Woodcut Prints for Social Justice and a Better World

Session Description:

A collection of large woodcut prints that convey the artist’s reflections and messages for social justice and for a better world. In his works the artist addresses issues of societal injustice, violence, discrimination, abuse of the vulnerable and the weak. He selected the title of “Scream” because he often felt like screaming loud to halt the violence, the lies, the derailing of values; also to express his anger and disapprobation of power and might-based politics. The artist also wanted to scream out loud what he believed in, what he found wrong, what he thought was preventing a better world, the world of justice and peace he dreamt of.
