The Chicago Community Chorus was founded in 2003. Our mission is to provide an advanced choral experience for people who love to sing. With over 130 singers from a variety of ethnic backgrounds, CCC presents at least three major performances a year. Our repertoire spans the widest possible variety of choral music—from gospel to hip hop, cantata to oratorio, from jazz to pop. Our choral literature includes works from the 15 th century great composers. Our mission is to recruit and educate people who love to sing and perform a wide and varied repertoire of choral music.
